Stork Conservation Pilot Project: Osmancık

The project, which was implemented in partnership with the Çorum Bird Watching Society, with the aim of developing a pilot-level sustainable training program for the conservation of storks in Turkey, in which teachers and students will be actively involved, was carried out in 2008 in the Osmancık district of Çorum.

The Stork Conservation Pilot Project was implemented in order to test the booklet prepared within the scope of the Stork Education Project carried out in 2007, to make corrections based on the problems that teachers and educators may encounter during the implementation and to make it ready for printing and for its application in other regions of Turkey.
