Creating Source Material for Wetland Management Planners in Turkey

The project, which was implemented to improve the capacity of the local personnel responsible for Wetland Management Planning in Turkey, was supported by the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality Matra-KNIP Program and the Turkish Ministry of Environment and Forestry at the time.

The project was designed to make up for the deficiency of technical personnel by filling them with the necessary knowledge and expertise to create wetland management plans in Turkey, which is a party to the Ramsar Convention.

Wetland Management Planning Guide was prepared at the end of the project.
