Supporting Local Sense of Ownership for the Conservation of Yumurtalık Lagoons (2008-2009)

Supporting Local Sense of Ownership for the Conservation of Yumurtalık Lagoons Project was supported by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Global Environment Facility Small Grants Program (GEF-SGP) and the Small Investments Fund (KYF).
Within the scope of the project, which was carried out between January 2008 and February 2009 in the Yumurtalık district of Adana, it was aimed for the local people living around the lagoons to get a sense of ownerhip for the Yumurtalık Lagoons. It was also aimed for the locals to establish and strengthen connections with Adana and Çukurova University.
